If you're  interested in a  breeding at our place one afternoon when your girls are in standing heat we ask $45 cash per doe exposed. with an official  service memo and receipt provided and done! Service memo can be either AGS, ADGA or both since he's dual registered.

As per the AGS Recommended Fair Trade Policies we will  provide, without further cost, a second mating if desired within seven months of the first service.

A  preliminary inspection of all visiting goats is required. Sandstorm isn't a rapist; he won't go after girls who aren't interested. We couldn't believe our eyes, but it's true. But he will happily breed a doe in heat. We can make arrangements for them to get together anytime  during the week or weekend if your doe is in heat and needs to be bred so you don't miss the chance.

If you bring girls over please know that we want to inspect your goats to ensure that they're healthy before exposing Sandstorm to them. It's just protocol; we check for lumps on the body, coughing, diarrhea, eyes...just general healthiness. We reserve the right to deny service for any reason. We love Sandstorm and want to protect him; we're sure you understand.  We are willing to lease Sandstorm to select breeders.

We would like to have photos of the girls Sandstorm breeds with and would love it if you send us photos of the resulting kids, even kids' kids to put on this site! We're happy to put up a link to your farm site and any other information you'd like mentioned.

It take a long time to evaluate a buck, and ultimately it's the kids he throws that determine how good he is. We are still learning about breeding, and the more data we have on our stock, the more we can learn. We were pleased with the kids he had with our girls., but would like to put him to more rigorous testing. His horns have made keeping him challenging. In another year or so he may be for sale, but we are still considering whether to build a new pen for another boy and keep them both or say goodbye to Sandstorm.

"Well, helloo ladies! Ready for a stormy love affair? No? Ah, alright then..."

-Sandstorm to visiting does

They had to be penned up because they kept running away; even after a long while they wouldn't let him mount. They just weren't interested, and he left them alone.

Cookie is in standing heat here; she yelled to go in with him and stayed very still when he mounted. Picture was taken in  February 2015. She had two kids from this fling born on August 19, 2015; a very friendly boy and a girl nicknamed Puffy and Forest. Sadly, Cookie died during labor and only produced one more kid, a clone of baby Sandstorm and being bottlefed.

Here Cookie is showing the post-coital cramp that usually signals a successful mating. Letting them do it at least three successful times is best just to make sure.
